What is Greenhouse?

The process of growing agricultural products in greenhouses is defined as greenhouse cultivation. Non-seasonal fruits and vegetables can be produced more efficiently when desired in greenhouses designed to eliminate the climate effect in regions and areas where the climate is affected.

Why is Greenhouse Important? Although there is less space, it is possible to buy more products. A wide range of vegetables and fruits can always remain in the market. As the livelihood of the people is provided, it also contributes to the national economy through exportation. The quality of the grown product is higher. Continuous work is provided in greenhouse businesses. A market is formed in the industries of materials such as glass and plastic related to greenhouse cultivation.

HOW SHOULD THE LOCATION BE SELECTED WHEN MAKING GREENHOUSE? The selection of the area where the greenhouse will be installed is important. For this reason, it is necessary to be careful and sensitive during the selection of the place where the greenhouse will be installed. The greenhouse area must have a quality soil structure. The slope of the land is important. The slope should generally be between 0.3% and 1%. If the slope of the land is high, leveling should be done by constructing terraces. In the area where you will install the greenhouse, there should be water and energy constantly. There should be no interruptions or problems in this regard. It should be outside the industrial zones of the land to be established. It should not be exposed to industrial wastes from these regions. The wind should not be too much in the area where we will set up the greenhouse. If it is necessary to set up a greenhouse in a windy area, reinforcements should be made with windbreaks. If greenhouses are to be established in environments with heavy rainfall, greenhouses should be dried if the slope is low in these regions.
